Why families commission archive updates

Cold wallets drift out of sync with paper records. A child inherits a hardware device but the accompanying ledger lists addresses from three years ago. A quarterly archive session catches those gaps before they become recovery problems.

Our archivists work from your existing notebooks, spreadsheets, or prior Lindenway binders. We never ask for seed phrases or private keys during routine updates — only wallet labels, public addresses, and your own verification steps.

What a typical quarter looks like

  • January: Initial vault documentation for new clients
  • March: Quarterly archive review for returning reserves
  • June: Recovery preparation briefs before travel season
  • September: Coin-by-coin reconciliation after major purchases

Client records

"After our father passed, we found three hardware wallets and a notebook with conflicting address lists. Lindenway spent two sessions reconciling coin entries against our own verification — we finally have one binder that matches what is actually in the vault drawer."

— Hyeon-jin K., quarterly archive client since 2023
