Archive Methods
How Service Lindenway conducts coin-by-coin archive updates for private offline reserve management.
Our archival philosophy
Offline reserves fail when paper records and physical wallets diverge. Lindenway archivists treat each coin entry as a line in a living ledger — verified in your presence, recorded in a bound copy you retain, and cross-referenced to wallet labels you already use.
We are documentarians of your cold-storage holdings, not custodians of assets.
The four-phase archive cycle
Intake and scope
We confirm wallet count, ledger format, and whether this is baseline documentation or a quarterly update. You receive a preparation checklist listing devices and prior binders to gather.
Coin-by-coin verification
During the session, you display each wallet's holdings on your own device. The archivist records coin name, quantity, wallet label, public address, and acquisition notes you provide. We never ask to hold your hardware.
Ledger binding and change log
Entries are written into your Lindenway binder or appended to your existing archive. A change log captures what shifted since the last session: new acquisitions, transfers between wallets, retired addresses.
Delivery and follow-up
Updated archives are delivered within five business days. A brief follow-up call resolves minor labeling questions. Major vault changes trigger a new session rather than remote edits.
Materials we work with
- Lindenway bound archives from prior sessions
- Client-maintained notebooks and spreadsheets
- Hardware wallet labels you have already assigned
- Paper backup envelopes (contents never opened by archivists)
Field notes companion
During sessions, some clients use the Offline Wallet Tracker app for personal field notes. The app supports on-device labeling; professional ledger updates remain the booked archive service.
